John's Notes

Design Considerations

When it has dried or matured to its white-ish color, it has a cloud-like, whimsical aesthetic that looks especially great in the early morning or early evening light.

Muhlenbergia sericea vs Muhlenbergia capillaris

Muhlenbergia sericea is not to be confused with Muhlenbergia capillaris. In fact for California climates, John Greenlee finds that Muhlenbergia sericea is a much stronger grower and flowers more reliably than its counterpart.
